okay, hey there!
So about a long time ago, i had backtrack 5 and never encountered any issues while using it.

Ive had a long break from linux since my boss commanded me to use mac instead, and now i have switched back.

I got the Broadcom BMC43228 WLAN card. b43 firmware installer says my card is not tested, attempting to install the wl driver installation returns an error as well (basically, wl.ko module wont run)

Here's a fun fact for you: On the current Debian Wheezy build, i can install the wl wifi driver without errors and it works perfectly fine.

Are there really that serious differences between kali and debian?
