    Vpn

    Hi,

I have a vpn account and I have download the ovpn files for that account. In kali I have install the vpn applications and I click on the VPN tab and then import. I can import the file but cannot save as the save button is greyed out.

    Any help wouldbe great.

Try running these two commands and see if it fixes it. I usually cd to the ovpn files directory and just type -----> openvpn VPN_File_Name.ovpn <----- and run it like that. You could also write a bash script to automate the process.

I just tried to run one of my ovpn files on a fresh untouched install of Kali 1.0.8 and it works perfect & VPN connected instantly with no need to install any thing extra. What error do you get when you run the command?

Commannd I run to start Openvpn

    openvpn Name_of_your_ovpn_file.ovpn
