Trouble installing latest Kali on late 2013 retina mbp

As title says, I am having trouble dual booting the latest Kali on the late-2013 15-inch retina Macbook Pro. I am trying to install using a bootable USB. The trouble is, when I boot up using rEFInd, I am not able to select the "live install" as if my keyboard weren't working. Could anyone point me to a well-explained guide, including the making the USB bootable part, or explain it to me yourself, please? I am only posting here because I really could not find a tutorial for the late-2013 model or one that could resolve my issue.

try to use USB keyboard outside to install it .

maybe the kali linux detect keyboard have problem with Mac .
