airmon-ng command not found

So I'm learning how to use aircrack-ng in Kali Linux, however upon trying to use the airmon-ng command the system said the command could not be found. I am running Kali on Virtual Box on a windows 8.1 machine if that makes a difference. Thanks in advanced!

in my kali Vbox under win7sp1 seems worked

I tried using a different virtual machine software, Virtual Player and now airmon-ng "works" but it says that the main kali network process "could cause trouble" and won't start anything because of it... Any ideas?
