Post Install - Persistent USB and Dock

    Hello

I have installed Kali on USB via LUKS persistent - all is good. I can boot on my laptop w/o issue. But when I use a docking station with usb keyboard, mouse and two displays - it does not complete the boot.

It does load, select persistence live boot, enter passphrase -then black screen w/ cursor.

Can someone lend me some insight.

    Thanks
    scopa

Easy fix - put the lapop in your dock and disconnect the monitors. Boot from USB.

When kali desktop is loaded, plug in the monitors.

restart - clamshell your laptop and kali now boots properly while docked and connected to dual monitors
