CUDA tools inside Kali Linux

I'm just curious which CUDA tools are included inside Kali Linux. Is there any list where I can find them all? And one more question, I downloaded the VMWare image of the Kali Linux and I'm using it as a virtual machine, therefore, I would like to ask whether the CUDA tools work from virtual machine, if the host machine has a CUDA capable graphic card?

You can use VMware ESXi for GPU passthrough to the VM

And what if I use Persistent Live USB method? Will I be able to get the CUDA capabilities of the laptop that I connect the USB to?

You can try installing Nvidia driver in live mode but I would just install Kali onto the USB drive through the installer so it would be normal hard drive.
