Hi, I just installed kali linux 64 bit. I am having problems with my mic, I had some cheap headphones I use with a mic built into them. When I join a google hangout video call my laptop doesn't use the internal mic at all, but tries to use the headphone mic. I have never had a problem with this on other distros I have used or on windows when I boot into that. This is a new laptop and a new install. I have googled everything I could think of to fix my issue. People can hardly understand me when in the video calls. Any Help would be very grateful.

When I go to Applications > System tools > Preferences > System Settings: and select sound, I can see an option for internal Mic, when I select that no one hears me. I am not sure if I am missing some type of driver or whatnot. The computer is a Samsung 510R. Also Alsamixer hardly has any options.
