possessed mouse - Please help

Hi all,

Hoping you can help.

I'm having an issue with my mouse on Kali which is now driving me mad.

The mouse moves on its own without me touching it

Sometimes slowly but mostly more aggressively to the top right corner and even when I try and move it back, it keeps going straight back there.

It makes the system completely unusable as when I ry and click a link ec. the mouse is fighting against me.

It happens on the touch pad and on two different USB mouses.

Please can anyone help with re installing mouse and touch pad drivers?

Hope you can help...I'm at a loss.

Hi there nutpuk

If you have any other input devices (joysticks etc) unplug them or try to use a black background for your touchpad or if you're running Kali on a Dell laptop and it has a trackpoint (the little mouse on the keyboard) then this is causing the troubles or you can ggogle for it. There are many references to your problem.

Have you tried hiring a priest to perform an exorcist?
