And what is the best way to update if there is? I know there have been bug fixing going on with the source it seems which is why I ask.

I would like to know as well. I'm guessing apt-get is the best for kali itself, but what about kernel updates, etc.?

http://www.offensive-security.com/ka...nter-download/ shows the current version of Nethunter. Also, if you use the windows installer, you will get notifications on new images.

I'm going to have nightly builds soon available on my website. They are built from source there. But for whatever reason I can't force it to run the script every night! :P Soon...

You mean nightly builds of nethunter ? I'm not sure our volume of pushed bugfixes to warrant such a high frequency....perhaps "weekly" would be more suitable.

I'll probably adjust it to that. It would be easier on my server! :P

When a new build is released, is it necessary to reinstall by downloading the new zip and flashing it through the recovery? Or once Nethunter is install will running apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade be sufficient to stay current?

Yes, a reinstall by flashing a new zip will be required.
