Nethunter AP with Wifi Only Nexus 7

I am thinking about getting a Nexus 7 to play with Nethunter. If I do I will most likely get a wifi only model.

With a supported USB wifi adapter and the proper cable can I setup an AP so that the Nexus 7 internal Wifi is connected to a legitimate access point serving internet access, and then the wifi adapter serves internet clients connected to my Nethunter AP (which could then be doing things like tcpdump, ethereal, sslstrip, etc.)?

Yeps, this is supported almost out of the box with the "Mana" toolkit.

Yeah, I have browsed the internet using the internal network card on my Nexus 7 2013 and used the external card to use tools like airodump-ng. Internet browsing was not impeded in any way and airodump worked fine as well.
