Can Kali repos be added to other Debian distros?

I have a personal laptop that I just installed Lubuntu on. I love Kali and Linux but I don't want to use Kali in a day-to-day setting, I want to use Lubuntu instead.

While I know that I can get the tools that I like from either their project webpages or other sources, I trust Kali repos more. I'd like to be able to add Kali repos to Lubuntu but before I do so, I thought I'd ask in the forums whether that's a good idea or not. The Kali repos usually include kernel updates designed for Kali and I'd hate to mess up my Lubuntu install every time I apt-get upgrade.

    * How can I add Kali repos safely into Lubuntu?

    Thank you

I had installed crunchbang on my eee pc and asked the same question on there forums and I received mixed responses half the people said it's ok the others said it'll break my system. Hopefully someone on here with more knowledge will be willing to give us a defenite answer.

I don't know how much help this is or how relevant at this point, but I tried adding the Kali repos to Jessie (Debian testing) and while I had some issues at first I got everything up and running. NOTE: I broke X and a lot of other things with gnome after a short time, but I could still boot to a tty and use the tools I normally use without any issue.

Tl;Dr it's not perfect, YMMV, not recommended for novices of linux or debian.

Its not supported & not recommended.
It WILL break things. Maybe not straight away - but it will one day.
This is how some packages are done & dependencies when it comes to updates.
