Hi, i'm pretty new to Kali and I bought an Atheros AR9280 mini pci-card, installed it into my laptop in an attempt to get a more complaint rig. I have not been able to get it to do anything though because of a hard rfkill. I was wondering if you guys had any insight as to how to make this function. I have checked and tried everything I can think of. With the original card in the hardware switch will control the factory card "bcm94312HMG" but it will not control the Atheros AR9280. RFKILL says that its always hard blocked. Its using the ath9k drivers and seems to be installed properly. is there a way I can get kali to ignore the SIOCSIFLAGS? any help suggestions or random guesses would be appreciated!
