I created a Pyrit database (a native Pyrit database locatedd at file://), but I see that it is filling up the partition (it is stored in a hidden folder in the root directory).

I was thinking of creating a MySql databae (or postgresql) or even just keeping the pyrit database... but was wondering if I could move it to an external drive. I have a 300GB ext3 partition on an external drive, and would love to place it there.

While this does seem possible (from what I have read around the web), what I am wondering is how can I possibly transfer the results of the pyrit batch operation that is already at 50% and as taken 3 days running almost continually during that time. I can see all of the data in the aforementioned hidden folder... but I just have no clue how to create a new database at another location...and then move what has been completed by pyrit already.

If anyone can give me some tips or suggestions in this matter I would be very appreciative!
