    can`t open system settings or time settings

    3.14-kali1-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 3.14.5-1kali1 (2014-06-07) i686 GNU/Linux

    when i click on system settings , adjust time and date or sound preferences they appear as a tab down there loading and my cursor becomes a miniature clock indicating that the program is loading then it vanishes (terminates)

    sound preferences option does the same thing

    did you installed any GPU drivers?

    yes i did, according to the wiki ati proprietary `s provided steps<ihave an ati radeon 4200
