404 error during software updates

Receiving this error message during software updates, "E: Error http://http.kali.org/kali/ kali/main metasploit-framework amd64 4.11.0-2014121601-1kali0
404 Not Found"

Obviously the URL is wrong with the double "http://" in the URL.

I tried to uncheck the "Framework for exploit development and vulnerability research" upgrade from the list but it continues to place the check back in and the resulting error message halts the entire upgrade process.

Any ideas how to proceed?

Kali 1.0.9a, 64 bit HD install.

Hi,

Can you go into apt-get and modify the sources. I'm sure there is away to do that. I was trying to install wifi metropolis but the only way to do it would be to change the sources.

type:

apt-get --help (or -help)

Read the help page and if you mange to modify or create a new source let me know! lol
