Drivers for Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 440

    Noob question, thanks for looking.

So after playing around with a live version of Kali for a while, I have taken the plunge and am working on installing it as my main OS on my laptop.

The installation on my Thinkpad E440 went pretty well, and now I am trying to figure out how to iron out a few of the bugs. The one I am on now is the fact that I can't seem to use multiple monitors. The laptop has an HDMI port, but it only acts as a mirror when I plug it in. In the system settings, Displays only shows one "Unknown" monitor. I am assuming that I need to find and load the correct driver in order to make this work, but I have not figured out how to do that.

Here is a copy of my lspci, and I can see that is recognizes the Intel Corporation Haswell Integrated Graphics Controller, but I do not know where to go to from here to get it to work properly. Leovo only lists Ububtu and Mint drivers, not Debian. I have searched the Kali forums and found bupkis, and I hate posting Noob questions without doing my due diligence, so now that I feel I have, do you think you can help or point me in the right direction?

I mis-spoke, Lenovo has "diagnostics" for RedHat and SUSE, nothing for Ubuntu and Mint.

It's a shame, but I can't figure out how to make this work. I wanted to use Kali, but I guess I am going to have to find another distro.
