Hello,
to start, i'm a newbie, no much of experience with kali or old backtrack linux.
i downloaded a 32bit iso image, i did a crosscheck with the SHA and it's correct so i did not mess up with the download(hope so, SHA is correct).
I don't have a usb boot option so i burned it to a dvd.
Problem: the dvd is not booting.
->i just did a normal data disk burn.
->i did not extract the iso image.
->i'm just getting a blank screen with a cursor blinking, and a msg saying to select a proper boot option and to insert a proper boot disk and press a key.
can someone depict what i'm going through and a possible solution.
a simple procedure and appropriate software to burn the iso image.
