apt-get still work?

Hey guys, with the previous version I used to get updates pretty much daily using the standard apt-get update / apt-get upgrade /apt-get dist-upgrade commands. In the latest version it seems there's never any upgrades or dist-upgrades to be found. No errors, just nothing found. The chroot updater still finds updates but not the standard commands. Did something change with the new version?

Seems everything updates through the Update Chroot function now.
