aircrack/wifite not seeing wireless card

i purchased a tp=link tn-wn722n usb wireless adapter for use with kali in virtualbox i cannot seem to get it to work. wifite says no wireless devices found. quiting
i ran lsusb. and got lsusb
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 0cf3:9271 Atheros Communications, Inc. AR9271 802.11n
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 80ee:0021 VirtualBox USB Tablet
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub

part of the reason for getting this one was i read it was plug and play
really not sure what to do. thanks in advance

i would make sure it is enabled in your virtual box. in vmware sometimes one has to select devices and enable it. it its recognized in your main operating system then its disabled in the guest OS

i have check the box under usb devices. i can no longer see it in windows devices. i tried installing https://github.com/erickcion/tlwn722n-linux-install. still nothing but lsusb can see it inside the virtual box

fixed it for anybody else having issues with this in virtual box this seems pretty universal Edit: Youtube videos are not allowed
