    install kali from USB

    hy,

    im a new user and want use a kali distri (kali-linux-1.1.0-i386) on my Acer Travelmate 8204.
    The problem is when i install from USB i got a errormessage who calls:
    firewire_ohci 0000:0a:09.4: failed to set Link Power Status.

    i read a lot on this and other Forums and didnt find out whats happen.
    Can anyone help me ?

    Does the installtion just stop after this warning or does it continue?

    Is the live usb working fine when boot from it?...Be more specific.

    hi,im using ubuntu 14.04 dual boot with windows 8.1 in my hp pavilion 15-n203tx laptop.I want want triple boot my laptop with kali linux 1.1.0a.I created bootable usb using live linux usb creator.But my boot menu is not detecting the usb.Can anyone help me in this regard?

    I have a compaq with no usb option in the bios ,but using grub I've been able to boot puppy linux off usb using grub. Grub just needs a location to the usb something like hd1,0 or what ever the path is for your computer
