Talking Fully supported WiFi Adapter - Is this stuff ok?

    Hello,

I am a former user of Backtrack (2/3 years ago) and not I want to try Kali.

I have a MacBookPro in which I hope to run Kali via VMware. I know passing through a virtual machine hypervisor can generate troubles with WiFi drivers and such, so here my questions..

Following the previous threads in this forum, I just purchased the following wifi adapters:

    - TP-LINK TL-WN722N
    - Alfa AWUS036NH
    - Alfa AWUS036NEH

Can anyone, based on experience, confirm that they can work well with Kali running in VMware on my MacBookPro?

Also, I picked those ones as they seems the most popular and used, but not sure if I shall be looking at some more like for example:

    AWUS051NH (500mW)
    AWUS036NHA (800mW)
    AWUS036NHR V2 (2000mW)

I am going to the US in two days where this stuff is cheaper than Europe so trying to make the purchase there (next week).

Any (quick!) advice is more than welcome!!

    Thanks so much!

confirmed :-) in vbox it works out of the box with guestaditions installed.
if your vm has acces to you physical usb there shouldnt be any problem.

I'm running Kali on Macbook Pro on baremetal and TP-LINK TL-WN722N works great.

I would suggest not using any USB devices through a virtual machine as you will get usb bus bandwidth drop like crazy even with the wonderful vmware.
Boot into a live usb at least or install it on your computer in another partition or just install it over your regular OS to get best results
