How install a USB WIFI Driver

    Hi Everybody,

I am new using Kali Linux, even I am not a good linux user.

I have a laptop and I installed kali linux, This laptop has a problem with the wifi adapter, so I bought a new one.

I bought a nexxt Lynx300. It comes with a linux driver, but I do not know how to install it.

I hope you can help me and tell me how I can install that driver.

    Thanks for your time.

    Hi,

Finally I can solve my problem.

    This is what I did.

I used the lsusb command to know what was the USB driver (It was connected to the usb port).

    Then I installed the driver.

    apt-get install firmware-ralink

I installed an application to manage the wireless

    apt-get install wicd

Using that application you can connect to any wifi (obviously you need the pass).

These are the website that I used.
