Anyone have any luck with this? Not finding much when I Google. I'm getting the below error after installing syslog-ng. When I go to /var/lib indeed the syslog-ng folder isn't there. As you can see below that, when I do a whereis syslog-ng is under /usr/lib, and others, but not /var/lib. I'm not exactly a Linux noob, but not an expert either so I'm sure I'm over looking something. It's a pretty base install of Kali nothing fancy, and the install of syslog-ng completed without errors. I checked for updates after and rebooted. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
