kali mini can not install in VMware Workstation

kali-linux-1.1.0-amd64-mini.iso can't install in VMware Workstation 11

no disk drive was detected. if you know the name of the driver needed by your disk drive, you can select it from the list.

what can i do ?

I can confirm! This true to me too. Spend one more day to check this, it always provides bad results.

I tried to install kali 1.1.0 mini for both i386 & amd64 platforms and always got this error.
The same goes to the latest VMware 11 & VirtualBox 4.3 - nothing works. It's very sad .

So currently, i see no way to install kali 1.1.0 mini using VMware or Virtualbox because of this error.
Could someone fix this?

im experiensing too im not able to run kali linux on vmware player...i'd download it from kali.org torrent 64bit... i think the file is corrupt in site of kali.org
