    My ISP blocking Regular repositories

    My ISP blocking Regular repositories is there any way to fix this?


    apt-get update results in the following error:

    As N4 Nethunter so delicately put it, an option would be to change ISP.

    However, before doing that, I'd try some of the other kali mirrors and see if they are all blocked. Manually update your /etc/apt/sources.list file with any of those listed on the sites below:

    http://http.kali.org/README.mirrorlist
    http://security.kali.org/README.mirrorlist

    Alternatively, if you have money to spend, invest in a VPN. That will let you bypass region restrictions or those placed on you by your ISP. It has other benefits also which you can read about if you have a look around. Try PrivateInternetAccess, they seem ok and don't cost the moon.
    chown -R us ./base
