Hi

I'm having issues making Kali boot from USB key on my Surface Pro 2. I disabled Secure Boot. There's no legacy or Fast Boot option. I've followed several guides, but hasn't made it work yet. I've tried using Win 32 Disk Imager, which makes the USB key unreadable in Windows. Guide states key should be accessed. I've tried LinuxLive, which makes key readable in Windows, and I've tried adding /efi/boot/BOOTX64.EFI (copied bootmgfw.efi and renamed it). Also tried rufus. I've tried so much, I can't remember what went with what. Anyone here who could please tell me, whether it is possible to run Kali from USB key on Surface Pro 2, and how it's done. I'm sure it's the UEFI that is giving me the issues, but I don't know how to solve it.

Best regards

Frank
