Backtrack included a few webshells and dictionary files in the /pentest/ directory. Do these files exist in Kali? If so, where can they be found?

/usr/share/webshells and /usr/share/wordlists
You can use the locate command to find what you're looking for.

Like superkojiman said, the /usr/shar directory is basically the same as the /pentest directory. The only difference being that the tools aren't categorized by genre. All the tools are located there and anything that you install from the repo's is placed there as well.
