Your question probably has no replies for a couple of reasons. Mostly because noone here wants to be rude or flame anyone, or conversly; be spoonfeeding either. I'll try to reply without doing either.
You are not James Bond, and using any Nano USB wifi interface is going to hamper any real work being done, at best. "Stealthy" is great, but not when it hampers functionality and workflow. There is really no upside in trying to use any nano USB wireless interface at this time; from any manufacturer.
You should be able to determine whether a wireless interface suits your needs and is compatible with the Linux Pentesting Distro of your choice, no matter which distro it is; kali, pentoo, backbox,b|t, etc. Most will utilize at least some functionality of Aircrack-ng suite tools. This is why looking at the relatively well upkept Aircrack-ng compatibility topics and related forum threads is so often recommended should you look. http://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=compatible_cards would be a good starting place for you. Running inside a VM and using an external USB wifi interface makes this even more necessary to do a little upfront homework. Using a wifi interface inside a VM you see noone using even inside an HDD installed Kali box should be a good tipoff that you probably do not want to take on the amount of work it will require to *maybe* get it working properly.
