Installing AR9285 Wireless Drivers on Acer Aspire 7560 Failure - Assistance Please

    Hello All,

I am not sure if this the right area to post this. If not, Could someone kindly let me know?

I have been trying to install the wireless A9285 drivers onto my Laptop for wireless networking for the past 4 hours. I've attempted numerous different attempts all yeilding to the same failure result. I am currently not on the lapop(Seeing that something I've done caused the wired connection to give out). I will attempt to get the errors codes on a fresh clean install rather than having to go through all my notes(On top of numerous reboots). In the meantime, If anyone knows the easiest way for me to do this please let me know.

On the articles below, The majority of the error when attempted to use the "make", "make install", and "make unload reboot" commands are: "your old wireless subsystem modules were left intact", on the "make unload reboot" command I get see the "bluetooth service stop [OK], bluetooth service start [FAILED]

    The links I've attempted are:
    https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=134734
    https://www.fir3net.com/UNIX/Linux/c...rack-4-r2.html
    http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...t=2713&page=2&

I know you are probably going to need more info. Let me do a fresh install/USB boot and get the info. Also please let me know what info/error logs that I need to pull directly so I don't get off subject.

    THANK YOU ALL!!!

Here is the information you wanted. I've attached the lsmod in a .txt file.

lspci Results: (**This document exceeded the 20kb attachment size, so I'm posting part of it here to help get it under 20kb)

This has been resolved... Turns out, Unetbootin didn't download the most current version of kali. I downloaded the ISO from kali's website and written it to the USB Drive via Linux Mint's USB Writer and viola, Installed the OS and wireless included.

Thanks for the assistance in the matter.. Maybe this will help someone else out in the future.
