In looking over the SANS control on wireless networking:

http://www.sans.org/critical-securit...rols/control/7

It discusses using a commercial grade wireless scanning solution. I'm wondering if there is a way to accomplish this with Nessus.

Currently I use the following in Kali LInux:

airmon-ng start wlan(0,1)

airodump-ng mon(0,1) to look at what's in the air.

I do some occassional PCAP analysis in wireless too.

I interested to see what folks here are using for wireless intrusion detection systems, and how Nessus might be part of such a program.

Thanks,

Chris
