I do networks for a long time but I am lacking of unix-skills.
I downloaded the newest version of Kali Linux.
For any reason I was not able to join my wireless LAN every time.
I found out that the channel 12 and 13 do not work.
I can see channel 12 and 13 when I use "airodump-ng" but I am not able to join my WLAN.
Looking at google I found out that for some debian versions there are wrong settings for Europe.
I tried several ways to fix that like:
Make a file calling /etc/modprobe.d/cfg80211 and put in the following:
options cfg80211 ieee80211_regdom="EU"
I also tried it without quotation mark.
Nothing helps. Do you have any ideas?
