    GPS/WWAN Sierra EM7345 on X1/2G - Can't get it to work.

    Hey,

Are their any instructions on getting GPS working on Kali on a Lenovo Carbon X1/2G with the Sierra card?

I've turned on the card in the BIOS and the hardware is recognised but wireless is disabled which
if I'm correct doesn't effect the GPS option with this card as no sim card is apparently required.

After using 'dpkg-reconfigure gpsd', I got some interfaces ttyACM0 and ttyS0,1,2,3 that I've
configured with GPSD but I'm not getting data streams on any device and no output from 'telnet localhost 2947'.

Also where are the xgps binaries?

    Well this is interesting!

According to this article, Lenovo has switched off the GPS and AT commands and you have to
manually switch it on but you can only do it under Windows 8 from the link below.

Is their some method of doing this from Inside Linux?
The alternative will probably involve purchasing W8 and reinstalling KL!
