Unable to complete installation of Kali 1.1.1a in VirtualBox 4.3.28

Software: Vitualbox Version 4.3.28 for Windows
Current functioning virtual machines on VB: OpenSUSE 13.2

Download Site: Kali.org
Versions: Torrent and ISO 64-bit

Install Issue:
In every instance, immediately after the password screens, the system proceeds to Detect Disk step with a menu to chose the disk driver.

The message reads " No disk drive was detected. If you know the name of the driver needed by your disk drive you can select it from the list.

It sounds like your hard drives aren't detected. Perhaps it would help if you change the emulated HDD controllers? http://oracle-virtualbox.com/hard-disk-controller/
