I had to reinstall Linux Kali and now can not dist-upgrade. Is there a way to install inux-headers? I need to use vmware.

Been away for a while from here, nothing changes eh...

Heres a temp fix as it seems the link is changed on the update , dist_upgrade etc...


root@kali:~# which msfconsole
/usr/sbin/msfconsole
root@kali:~# ls /usr/bin/msfconsole.framework -al
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 40 Jun 16 12:02 /usr/bin/msfconsole.framework -> ../share/metasploit-framework/msfconsole [points to here and not /opt/metasploit/app/msfconsole]
root@kali:~# ls /usr/bin/msfconsole -al
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 30 Jun 16 12:13 /usr/bin/msfconsole -> /opt/metasploit/app/msfconsole

Temporaryfix till resolved:

root@kali:~# /usr/share/metasploit-framework/msfconsole
or
root@kali:~# cd /usr/share/metasploit-framework#
root@kali:~# /usr/share/metasploit-framework#msfconsole
[*] Starting the Metasploit Framework console.../
Call trans opt: received. 2-19-98 13:24:18 REC:Loc
