Question Kali on GPT disk on BIOS machine

Hey, guys. I've had a post here for a bit, but never got any response, so I've really been trying to track down the bug myself. One thing I noticed was, on everything I could find online concerning GPT-partitioned disks, the machine had UEFI instead of BIOS. So it's got me wondering if there's any known issue with Kali installing on GPT disks (as opposed to MBR) when the machine has BIOS.
I partitioned my disk as GPT because I really didn't want to have to deal with extended/logical partitions any longer. Should I have left it MBR?

    Thanks!
    Fred

I bit the bullet, changed the disk to MBR, created new partitions, and installed Kali. No change in the login issue, so apparently the partition table of the hard drive had not effect.

Its not required to change to MBR.
My Kali is installed in GPT , but only issues is I need a way to boot Kali in UEFI Mode.
    Any Ideas OP?

I'm afraid not, but I'll take a look.
My understanding is that installation in BIOS mode (which I assume you did) and installation in UEFI mode are very different w/ regards to bootloader location, partitions, etc. I'm strictly BIOS myself and have only done one UEFI install for someone else, so I'm really not familiar with it.

I'm running dual-boot Windows 10 and Kali 1.1.0 on UEFI mode, smoothly...
