Hello everyone! New to the forum and looking forward to learning as much as I can from everyone. I am new to the network security world and recently had a need for Kali. I recently purchased a Surface Pro 3 with the i7 chip/8 gig of ram. After installing and updating Kali i run the "apt-get upgrade" command the software finds or 700 mbs of upgrades. After the software downloads I end up getting a "low memory" error and the process is aborted during installation. When setting up virtualbox I added 3800mb of memory with a 20gb hard drive. I am not sure what I am doing to make this happen. I am hoping someone could help me out and point me in the right direction to a possible fix. The software settings are default. If more info is needed please let me know. Thanks!!
