hi all,
i download kali linux (kali-linux-1.1.0a-amd64.iso), checked the iso and was ok, i writed it onto a usb reading the kali guide using "dd" on linux (i use ubuntu).
i booted from usb and selected "live" and failed, then i selected "live (failsafe mode)" and failed again.
after a few "writing" i get black screen with a little symbol in the bottom right and then nothing happens.
during the boot a saw for a few seconds portmapper is not running … (warning)
i googled and found this this
but i can't follow the guide because i have no access to a console and can't do the "apt-get ..." due to i have no system installed
is there a solution?
