    VirtualBox Kali Linux install error

I tried to install kali linux 2.0 on VirtualBox 5.0.1. I used a normal 64 bit image (kali-linux-2.0-amd64.iso). I've seen a few videos/tutorials and followed the steps. The problem is that when I get to the step where it installs the system, it says that the installation failed. This happened 4 times. I rebooted my computer, changed some of the settings, but I still get that problem. This is a picture of the error:20150814_133639.jpg

Hi, today I tried to install Kali 2016 on my Ubuntu 14.4 System with Virtualbox 4.3.36

The installation worked fine, but when I want to boot the system, I see the grub and after that a black screen with the words "Loading, please wait" .. and nothing happens. I can wait an our, nothing happens . I habe no idea, how I can fix this problem ... I found no solution, I installed kali like written here http://www.blackmoreops.com/2014/04/...on-virtualbox/

    Any ideas?

    the virtual box log says
    virtualbox_log.txt.zip

Did you used Kali for install on VM and not the Kali iso for installing on hardware?

first I used the kali iso (32bit) and installed it in the virtualbox wish sees to work. but after that, I started the kali in the virtualbox and it stoped after the grub.

I downloaded the virtualbox kali package and imported it to the virtualbox, but here I get the same problem. I see the grub and after that a black screen and "loading, please wait" ... but nothing more happens :/

their are some bugs with Vm virtual box of oracle and other virtual machines
    while installing through ISO
So go to kali download section and download the VM Virtual box image
you think they made that section for no use ??

or it will work with VMware work station , coz kali ISO supports all the dependencies of VM ware

i try to complete this task to see what really happen.
everything is went smoothly w/o any problem
download an install VB on your computer
then download image you want to install from this page
    https://www.offensive-security.com/k...mage-download/
check sh1sum when you finished your download
extract those 7z file. it is ovi file
then from VB go to File--->Import Appliance and navigate to extracted Kali ovi file
    and just wait a little
on logon user is root, password is toor

    and that is all
