I have been attempting to install Kali 2.0 Mini from USB to a 1GB logical partition on my laptop (MSI X610).
After a few initial problems, the install seemed to be progressing OK but then suddenly stopped with an error screen:
Code:
[!] Install the base system
No installable kernel was found in the defined APT sources.
(etc)
If I look in virtual console 4, it says the following:
Code:
:
base-installer:
base-installer: W: Failed to fetch http://http.kali.org/kali/dists/sana/main/binary-i386/Packages: Hash Sum mismatch
base-installer:
base-installer: E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

It has taken quite some time to get to this stage so I don't relish starting the install all over again - can I recover from this situation?
Thanks,
