Gnome3 on Kali 2.0 VM (Fusion 7/MacBook Pro) CPU issues

    Hi all,

It seems Gnome3 is eating up resources and running the dual cores assigned to the VM at 20-25% each minimum at all times, making performance slow and fans incessant.

Any ideas on solving this (switched to Xfce4 for now which works great but would like to have Gnome3 working).

    Thanks!

I found a solution , so here it is for anyone with similar issues (though Xfce4 is a good option too).

I just switched on "Accelerate 3D Graphics" in the "Display" options in Fusion 7. Now the processor load is at 4-5% when idle and no fan activity.
