Kali Linux 2.0 Gnome fallback

Hey not sure if this has been asked about before,but I was wondering how to change the default gnome session to use gnome-fallback instead of the regular gnome default session? I have a slower,older laptop I use for Kali Linux and Kali 2.0 runs kinda slow with the gnome 3 on it. Kali 1.1.0a ran fine,fast,responsive. So how do I set gnome-fallback as the default setting on user logon automatically?

I had the same problem like yours of slow hardware. I installed xfce4 and everything is running fine now.

I'm trying too to get the fallback desktop, not because of hardware, but I really don't like full gnome desktop.

I tried

dbus-launch gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.session session-name 'gnome-fallback'

but at reboot, after give my password, i've got an error

and no way to get the desktop since I reboot in safe mode and enter

dbus-launch gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.session session-name 'gnome'

to come back in full gnome desktop.

If anyone have an idea...

I have the same problem, however using ap-get install gnome-session-fallback then rebooting and selecting Gnome Flashback doesn't entirely solve the problem as flashback is still buggy it does help, I recommend you try it out.
