The 8192cu driver isn't particularly good. You want to use something better (card, the driver still sucks) - but I am planning to release an image soon (tm) with a 4.0 kernel and that *may* help some, but that driver has sucked for a very long time, and I'm not entirely sure they've fully moved to mac80211 yet in 4.0.

I have Edimax EW-7811Un with RTL8188CUS working under rtl8192cu driver - perfect wiht Kali, Ubuntu, OSMC, Raspbian, PiCore.
For injection my top recomendation is RT3070. Although 20dBm, doesn't overheat, fast and well supported under any OS.

I'm lost as to what you're saying is strange - different devices use different drivers - just because they are the same *brand* doesn't mean they use the same chips - you need to carefully look at what you're buying.

the problem is that it didn't create under "mon" nic but change the original interface from wlan3 to wlan3mon

That change was documented https://www.kali.org/penetration-tes...ck-ng-updates/ - it's not weird (okay maybe a little weird), but it's not a bug or error, it's expected behavior.

    Yep, I can confirm.
We already discuss that with steev.
Also with my Kali distro, it is need to "ifconfig wlanXmon down" the interface, and then put it manualy in minitor mode. Then ifconfig wlanXmon up, and you're good to go.

p.s. haven't tried the airmon-zc yet, but soon.
