    D-Link DWA-140 wireless adapter

    Hay everyone

    I have kali installed on VM workstation and of course my laptops built in wireless card wont work when running on Vmware but I have a D-link dwa-140 usb adapter and was woundering if someone is able to tell me if its compatiable to use with airmon and airodump etc.

    Have you tried using the Bridged Network setting in your VM? I am honestly not sure how it works inside of a VM, but if you use your D-Link as your host machines adaptor, open a terminal and type airmon-ng and see if that adaptor is listed. I am sorry if I am completely wrong about how the bridged connection works, and if I wasted your time.

    I too have the same issue and cant seem to get the network adaptor to show in the airmon-ng screen.All that shows is PHY Interface Driver and Chipset.Nothing under these headings.
    If I view my Network settings in Kali, for the Network Adaptors, they are both showing Bridged

    Would appreciate some assistance.Thanx in advance.
