How is installed gnuradio 3.7.5 on Kali V2.0

    Hello

There is gnuradio installed on Kali V2 .Gnuradio version installed is 3.7.5 (saw when running gnu companion)

It is impossible to install new software running with gnuradio 3.7.5 due to many errors

    GR-GSM

the compilation of gr-gsm ( cmake .. command) is stopping with theses errors like gnuradio wasn't installed as a standard version using scrits oy pyboms installer :

-- Build type not specified: defaulting to release.
    -- Boost version: 1.55.0
-- Found the following Boost libraries:
    -- filesystem
    -- system
    -- thread
    CMake Warning at CMakeLists.txt:92 (find_package):
By not providing "FindGnuradio.cmake" in CMAKE_MODULE_PATH this project has
asked CMake to find a package configuration file provided by "Gnuradio",
but CMake did not find one.

Could not find a package configuration file provided by "Gnuradio" with any
    of the following names:

    GnuradioConfig.cmake
    gnuradio-config.cmake

Add the installation prefix of "Gnuradio" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set
"Gnuradio_DIR" to a directory containing one of the above files. If
"Gnuradio" provides a separate development package or SDK, be sure it has
    been installed.

    Arrow same problem here

    Hi together,

i am also trying to install gr-gsm on a fresh Kali installation. But I can't get this work.

Have you found any solution yet? Would be nice if you can share it.

Currently I am thinking about a complete reinstall of all requiered software from source. So also gnuradio ...
    Might that work?

    Best regards

I tried several installations from scratch .

I tried upgrade through pybombs , I tried reinstall gnuradio through pybombs too . I made many tests nothing is working fine .

Maybe kali V2 staff could explain us how they installed the gnuradio , where /usr/local ?

    Gr-gsm isn't working
    gqrx isn't working
    Tetra telive isn't working

I will reinstall kali 1.10 a until SDR part of Kali V2 will be documented

Hey guys, did anyone ever figure this out? I just installed Kali 2.0 and cannot figure out where Gnuradio is installed. I'm trying to install gr-gsm manually and need to change the path in the install file but cannot find it. And yet it's there or some portion of it at least. I can run gqrx and gnuradio-companion.
