How Do I Adjust Kali 2.0 Display Settings?

I just recently upgraded to Kali 2.0 by modifying the source list. After performing the upgrade I can no longer access the system settings to adjust the display timeout. When I click "root" in the upper right hand corner, the drop down window appears, however, when I click the setting tab within that drop down menu, nothing happens. Because nothing happens when I click that settings tab, I honestly do not know if that is even the correct path to the display settings. Is there another way to access the display settings, or I just looking in the wrong place?

    Solved

    My problem was solved with
    Code:
    apt-get update gnome-control-panel
Also, I originally did the 2.0 upgrade on a test partition just to see if I would like it before moving away from a version I knew I liked. When I did the upgrade on the entire disk, the settings tab worked as it should.
