As title really. When running as root the options/icons for connecting to VPN connections do not appear. Whilst I can connect to my VPN via a shell, it is handy being able to see on the desktop whether the connection is still active. Does anyone know a fix for this?
p.s. the VPN functionality within the system tray works fine for a standard user.
