Hello all.

Well I was using Kali Linux 1 and all was well for a while. I finally decide to wipe my entire hard drive and re-install windows. Then I re-installed Kali linux only this time it was 2.0. I go through the install process and when I got to the desktop I updated it.

Well I launched WIFITE just to test out how its working and its telling me there are no wireless adapters. I am connected to the internet. I can run Iceweasel and go to any webpage I want. And this is being done wirelessly but that probably has something to do with VirtualBox.

So far all i've tried was going into Virtualbox and under devices I selected BRIDGED connection instead of NAT. Not sure what that does but it was recommended by another forum.

Not really sure what the problem is since it worked just fine on Kali 1.

Im using the onboard wireless adapter on my Asus K55a. Name of the card is Qualcomm Atheros AR9485
