    Installation Freezing

Hi Guys, just tried to install Kali 2 on my PC, it's an iextreme desktop, duo core etc etc etc. Yes I know I could dual boot from a USB but that isn't an option in my bios settings sorry guys
So burned the iso to CD/DVD and ran it. got to where you boot into kali and this happened.

    Loading, please wait
    fsck from util-linux 2.25.2
    */dev/sda1:clean 340017/38584320 files 44189/154317056 blocks
[ 16.040100] nouveau E[DRM] pointer to flat panel table invalid

That's it, the PC just locks up and has to be powered off at the plug. Now when switched back on and Kali is started in advanced/safe mode everything works fine.
This happens every time I turn the PC on btw, also it did with the iso I downloaded this morning. btw the checksums are fine etc.

Hope someone can come up with a simple solution.

    Cheers

Ok guys just an update as to what I have been trying.

I downloaded and burned to disk the 32bit iso did the chksum all was OK..
Installed it in the PC and the same error happened pointer to flat panel invalid
and the PC just froze. Kill the power and restart in safe mode and everything
works fine, also when running updates using the apt-get cmd I get the long
list of what there is but the final two lines say E: unable the get open on admin file eyc etc
and unable to get lock on admin file etc etc.

If I run the package update using the GUI all if fine and everything goes in just fine.
bare with me if this is explained wrong as I'm very new to 'Kali'. Any suggestions
    would be appreciated
