So just installed Kali on a virtual machine after SQLMAP crashed on my halfway through a database dump last night...
So the VM is being given 4GB of ram with 1 processor and 4 cores. Now I'm doing a scan with vega just to try it out and it is pretty much stuck at 60.6% using 1954mb of 2002mb(info from the bottom right corner). It has been there for over an hour and the application is running extremely slow. Not something I remembered when I ran it from a USB stick on a laptop.
Now I used a normal .iso to run with the vm and then I went with a persistent installation.
Now, giving that I don't really as of yet know my entire way around the linux OS, any pointers on what could be wrong?
