Terminal and root terminal doesn't working

Hey guys

I'm new here and i just installed kali in my notebook.

When i try to open my terminal and my root terminal, happens nothing but a loading sign in the upper bar for a little while and then disappears.
I'm sorry if this is an easy problem to be solved but i didnt found the awnser or any similar problem.
Already restarted my computer, nothing changes

Hi

I have the same problem it works when I am running it on a live cd, but doesn't when i install it. I have reinstalled it 4 times (beginner so it choses the deciding for me; also wipe entire hard drive and start again has always been my method of installing this).

Help please I jumped from cinnnamon to this to use the tools. I no longer have cinnamon installed (but i have it on a live usb).

Do you still have the ISO? Check the SHA1SUM to verify if your download has been corrupted.

I've rarely had them corrupt on me, but it has happened. This is why I only use distros, including the glorious Kali, that provide some sort of hash.
